Individual Therapy

I see individual clients weekly, for some clients, this can be moved to every other week if wished and mutually agreed if in longer-term ongoing therapy, initially, all clients will need to attend on a weekly basis (holidays etc excepted)

All sessions are strictly confidential, as is standard practice within talking therapy. (With a few very specific exceptions such as if you disclose an intention to cause serious harm to a human being - including yourself, explained clearly in my therapy agreement form)

Domiciliary Therapy -Ask - For those for whom travel is not practical- disabled/rural no transport / gravely ill etc

I am aware that people can be ‘locked out’ of therapy in these life positions and can take a limited number of domiciliary clients at any time.

Charges for one to one therapy for sessions which last an hour (between 50 odd and 60 minutes stopping at a natural point)  

Low Income - There are several coastal services which provide low-cost therapy - I can signpost you.

Couples Therapy

Please consider that when couples attend therapy it is usually to improve their relationship or to end their relationship. Sometimes this will be unclear to each person.  

It is the relationship that is the client so if the aim is to make things better compromises may be considered which are usually agreements neither party is 100% happy with.

Couples therapy is not magic, though appreciating just how unique and wonderful each person is, learning to really hear the other person, and responding rather than reacting can shift relationship dynamics into much greater harmony.

£70 for 90 minutes. Initially weekly.

Supervision

Supervision requirements vary for different Individuals, Groups and Organisations. 

A specific contract may need to be written and mutually agreed. 

I particularly appreciate working with therapy trainees who have experience of Transactional Analysis or who want supervision from this theoretical basis.

Due to the complexities of training requirements, it is likely you will need access to another supervisor too so I may be providing complimentary Supervision (equivalency) or you may require complementary Supervision to that which I provide you from time to time for good ethical practice and to pre-empt any risks of ‘blind spotting‘ 

Individual sessions of ‘two therapeutic’ hours duration £70.
